Dulcius ex asperis {Sweeter after difficulties}
A tiny bee gathers nectar from a thistle's flowers, above in Latin it reads ‘Dulcius ex asperis’ or ‘Sweeter after difficulties’. Bees, in heraldry, symbolize diligence and tireless effort, hard work and industry. Handcrafted using an English wax seal dating from the 1830’s.
