Handcrafted using the impression of an early 19th century British wax seal, this pendant features a dog with the motto ‘First to welcome, foremost to defend’ from Lord Byron’s poem written in 1808 to his beloved dog Boatswain.

Gold vermeil is a thick layer of real gold over solid sterling silver, it offers the look and feel of solid gold at an affordable price.
